DISCO: Project results and impact to be highlighted at final conference in Brussels

The final conference of the Joint Programme “Democratic and Inclusive School Culture in Operation (DISCO)” will be held in Brussels on 10 October.

Key results and impact of the projects implemented during the 5th cycle of the Programme will be highlighted during the conference. Overall 9 projects were funded and 25 organisations in 18 countries were involved.

Topics addressed by the projects included: social integration of refugees in the academic environment, prevention and protection of students from violence and bullying, co-operative learning between students with disabilities and students without disabilities and students’ acquisition of critical skills to assess online information.

The European Union/Council of Europe Joint Programme “Democratic and Inclusive School Culture in Operation (DISCO)” funds projects promoting Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education (EDC/HRE). Since the beginning of the Programme, 20 projects were funded and 36 countries participated in the Programme.
