The final conference of the Project “M.I.C.R.ON! Managing issues of controversy by Human Rights EducatiON” was held in Thessaloniki on 30 March 2019 and gathered teachers, school directors and education stakeholders from different areas of Greece (Thessaloniki and Northern Greece, Ioannina, Patras, Heraklion, Lesvos and Chios Islands).
Teachers presented their school projects relating to managing controversy through human rights education carried out in the school year 2018-2019 and shared their experiences and lessons learned.
As an outcome of the project, the publication “Managing Controversy” was translated into Greek and was distributed to the school community by the implementing partner, “Antigone – Information and Documentation Centre on Racism, Ecology, Peace and NonViolence”.
The Project “M.I.C.R.ON! Managing issues of controversy by Human Rights EducatiON” was funded by the European Union/Council of Europe Joint Programme “Democratic and Inclusive School Culture in Operation (DISCO)”.
