How can teachers help students to develop democratic competences? What are the competences that are necessary in the digital environment? These are two of the topics that were addressed during the International Conference “Democratic Culture in Action – democratic competences in the digital era” and 2nd Partner meeting that took place in Bucharest on 6-7 July.
During the conference, experiences from Romania were presented: representatives of the Romanian Ministry of Education, the Institute of Education Science and of NGOs such as Amnesty International and Save the Children presented their work and activities. Partners of the Project “Democratic Culture in Action – democratic competences in the digital era” from Armenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Romania and Serbia presented the key project results in their countries.
On the next day, during the 2nd Partner Meeting, the project partners discussed the development of a Strategy paper, main outcome of the project.
