Six Cultural Routes awarded the Routes4U  Grant

Following the Routes4U call for proposals, six Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe have been awarded the Routes4U grant to implement projects contributing to the EU macro-regional strategies

Adriatic-Ionian Region (EUSAIR): The Phoenicians’ Routes and the Routes of the Olive Tree will develop their branding strategy and tourism offer in line with the EUSAIR Pillar 4 Sustainable tourism

Alpine Region (EUSALP): The Via Francigena will involve local stakeholders through tourism-based activities such as signposting and information panels, in line with the EUSALP Action Groups 2 "To increase the economic potential of strategic sectors” and 6 “To preserve and valorize natural resources, including water and cultural resources”

Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR): The Hansa will develop a bookable 3-day package, in line with the EUSBSR Policy Area “Tourism” and “Culture"

Danube Region (EUSDR): the European Route of Jewish Heritage and the Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route will map the heritage offer in the macro-region, trained their new stakeholders and extend their network in the Danube Region, in line with the EUSDR Priority Area 3 "To promote culture and tourism, people to people contacts"
