PSS Kick off meeting
Experts from all over Europe met from 28 to 29 January 2014 in Vienna, Austria, to discuss strategies to promote the physical, mental and social well-being of emerging athletes. The conference in the Austrian House of Sport was the first of many activities which will be implemented in the framework of the initiative "Pro Safe Sport (PSS)" of the EPAS, which is supported by an EU grant.

In unison, the conference participants declared their enthusiasm and commitment to work together on this important topic for the benefit of emerging athletes.

Note: Athletes targeted by the PSS project are defined as emerging athletes. An emerging athlete does performance sport or sport on a competitive level. The athlete's age can be between 10 and 19 years, but it can also be lower depending on his/ her performance level in sport.
