The cycle of second round tables in CSiS partner countries was completed at the end of 2021, with the ones organised with Croatia (15 October), Israel (21 October) and Norway (30 November).

The draft country-specific roadmaps for effective child safeguarding in sport policies were presented and the proposed aims and activities were discussed with stakeholders from the sport and child protection sectors. The focus of the discussion was put on setting up child safeguarding officers’ roles in sport, as well as roles and responsibilities of different stakeholders for the implementation of the roadmap.

The CSiS partner countries, in cooperation with the Council of Europe and the international expert, are continuing their work on the finalization of the roadmaps.

The next steps will include the adoption of the roadmaps by the national steering committees and the launch of the roadmaps by the partner countries at a national event.
