Within the framework of the European Union and Council of Europe’s joint action on “Fostering women’s access to justice in Turkey”, several publications were developed and some of the publications were translated into Turkish. The availability of these publications will allow legal practitioners, decision makers and other interested parties stay up to date when it comes to the European and international standards in the area of women’s rights and women’s access to justice.
One research report on “Understanding barriers to women’s access to justice and legal aid in Türkiye” and two handbooks on women’s access to justice in Türkiye and on strategic litigation in the area of women’s rights were prepared by national and international consultants. In addition to these resources, six resources of the Council of Europe were translated into Turkish.
These publications will also be shared in the e-library of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations and printed versions have also been distributed to the bar associations of 81 provinces. The digital forms of these resources are accessible to everyone. You can access the publications via the links below.
The publications have been produced in the framework of the action on “Fostering women's access to justice in Turkey”, part of the European Union and Council of Europe’s joint programme entitled "Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022".
