Youth policy development and evaluation

Youth policy can mistakenly be seen as narrow, when it refers mainly to policies covering programmes and services offered to young people in the out-of-school space, often represented by youth work, non-formal education, youth information and counselling, volunteering or activities young people organise themselves through youth NGOs.

However, in its broadest sense, youth policy is all policy that affects young people in all aspects of their lives, from health, to finance, to housing, transport, or digitalisation.

The Youth Partnership has been supporting youth policy development and evaluation through research, practical projects such as Shaping youth policy in practice, and educational and capacity building materials.
