A mixed-methods approach was used for the assessment including: key informant interviews and group discussions; review and scoring of USAID planning documents; examination of technical documents and reporting data; and site visits to USAID missions. The assessment team conducted site visits to the El Salvador, Honduras, Kenya, and Uganda Missions to understand more fully how these missions have programmed with and for youth.
