Rad u ovom tematskom području usredotočen je na zatvore i policiju (uključujući ljudska prava u policijskom radu, zdravstvenu skrb u zatvorima i zaštitu od mučenja i zlostavljanja), standarde ljudskih prava u pravosuđu (usmjerenost na poboljšanje primjene sudske prakse Europskog suda za ljudska prava), migracijska pitanja, učinkovitost pravosudnih sustava (s fokusom na analizu pravosudnih statistika radi optimizacije sudske uprave) i/ili pravnu suradnju (koja je usredotočena na povećanje individualne neovisnosti sudaca i tužitelja i odgovornosti pravosudnog sustava).

Judicial Training Centre of Montenegro adopted the Communication Protocol

Within the overall support to the functioning of Judicial Training Centre (JTC) in Montenegro, a Communication Protocol has been developed in May 2022, setting out, for the first time, key principles and tools for internal and external communications of the Centre. The Protocol has been adopted by the JTC’s Steering Committee on 27 July 2022 and has become part of the formal JTC communication policy.

The Protocol provides a central source of guidance in all relevant communication matters to JTC bodies and is expected to increase the amount of information shared between the JTC's bodies and other judicial stakeholders. In entails specific communication procedures and techniques which will be further used by JTC representatives to communicate the scope and results of its work more effectively. The targeted training for JTC representatives on how to use the Protocol has been delivered in May this year.

The Communication protocol has been developed under the action “Accountability and professionalism of the judicial system in Montenegro” which is a part of the joint European Union/Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019 – 2022”.
