Youth Partnership workplan 2022-2023

The partner institutions have both launched their new youth strategies:

These strategies provide guidance for the objectives in the field of European youth cooperation for the coming period, including a new generation of funding programmes and a wide range of cooperation and support tools.

Building on over 23 years of successful cooperation, the partner institutions have decided to enhance their partnership in the field of youth. We are launching a series of consultations to explore what the youth partnership should be doing in the coming years in relation to youth research, youth policy and youth work development in Europe and, in particular, what focus its geographic dimension should have.

This consultative process will ensure the youth partnership activities remain relevant for the wide range of stakeholders at European, regional, national and local levels in Europe.

It is also an opportunity to define the needs of research, policy and youth work practice across Europe.

The consultation will start with a series of meetings in June:

8 June   – EKCYP – PEYR – PEYR Advisory Group meeting on the future work plan

10 June   – first consultative meeting on the youth partnership future activities

17 June   – enlarged expert meeting with the youth work community of practice on the role of the youth partnership in supporting the implementation of the European Youth Work Agenda

The partner institutions will take stock of the first consultations at the end of June and we will proceed with a wider consultation with young people, youth workers, trainers, researchers, policy makers at various levels and other actors who can help shape our future work.
