As part of the process of follow-up to the first youth policy seminar, this international round table brought together major intergovernmental, governmental and non-governmental partners in the fields of youth research and youth policy within the Euro-Mediterranean region with the aim to exchange experience and information and extend co-operation in the region.

All partners acknowledged the need to involve researchers in the policy-making process and supported the idea of organising a high level Euro-Med conference to consider youth policy co-operation.
