The Routes4U e-learning course address key issues for the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe and for the stakeholders from the EU macro-regional strategies working in the cultural heritage and tourism fields.
The first module, "The Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe: step-by-step guidance on the certification and the implementation", is available online. The Routes4U e-learning course is free and open to anyone interested in the Cultural Routes' programme and its implementation in the four EU macro-regional strategies.
Cultural Routes in the EU macro-regions: the Routes4U map
Routes4U developed a map collecting all the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe' members in the EU macro-regional strategies and beyond. Through the map, users can have a better understanding on the geographical presence of the Cultural Routes' members. Filters are available by EU macro-regional strategy, by Cultural Route, by country and by type of member to facilitate the navigation.

Opened by Paavo Lipponen, Prime Minister of Finland (1995-2003), the Routes4U Consultation on Cultural Routes for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) took place in Helsinki the 26 and 27 March. Around 70 participants attended the meeting to discuss Cultural Routes priorities themes for the the macro-regional strategy stakeholders, such as "Maritime heritage" and "Modern movement".

On 2-3 April, Routes4U brought together in Bard, Italy, experts and representatives from the local and national institutions of the EU strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP), Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe and projects. Partcipants discussed about the Cultural Routes priorities for the macro-regional strategy, such as the possibility of certification of the projects "Via Alpina", “Mountaineering Villages”, “AlpFoodway” and “Via Claudia Augusta” or the extension of the "European Route of Megalithic Culture", certified Cultural Route of the Council of Europe in 2013.
Routes4U Project is implemented by the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes (EPA), under the supervision of its Executive Secretary, Stefano Dominioni.
