Capitol radio has released the first radio broadcast regarding the incoming implementation of the Programme in Albania.

In this episode, Mr Claus NEUKIRCH, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Tirana talks about the strategic partnership between the Council of Europe and Albanian government. Ms Orsiola KURTI, ROMACTED Project Officer, and Mr Bledar Taho, Focal Point, share their insights about general overview of the programme, its methodology, and incoming implementation at the local level in the seven municipalities: Elbasan, Fier, Korçë, Permet, Pogradec, Roskovec and Vlorë.

ROMACTED on "Intervista"- Scan TV

Orsiola Kurti, ROMACTED Project Officer for Albania and Aurora Koci, Communication Officer in the programme`s support organisation (Instituti i Kultures Rome ne Shqiperi- IRCA) were invited by Valbona Mezini to take part in “Intervista” program at the national Scan TV in Albania. On this occasion ROMACTED Team discussed the context of Roma in Albania, main challenges and progress achieved, the contribution of the Council of Europe on social inclusion and and introduced the programme to the wider audience.

ROMACTED Programme Officer, Ms Sakibe Jashari, participated in NIN TV show on KLAN TV on the occasion of the International Roma Day. She discussed the challenges of the Roma community in Kosovo, areas of progress, cases of discrimination and stereotypes and lack of general knowledge on the Roma community.  She also presented ROMACTED Programme and the incoming implemented by the Council of Europe and Advancing Together.

City of Subotica

In the Town Hall of City of Subotica, the member of the City Council in charge of social welfare and health care, Ilija Djukanović, met with ROMACTED Project Officer from the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade, Vera Kurtić, and representatives of the Coordination Body for Monitoring the Implementation of the Strategy for Social Inclusion of Roma in the Republic Serbia, dr. Nenad Ivanišević and Danijela Lakatoš.

ROMACTED Programme was presented on this occasion, since the City of Subotica is among 10 targeted localities of the Programme.

ROMACTED on TV Star

TV STAR aired a broadcast about the recent activities of the ROMACTED Programme in "the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia", with a specific highlight on the forming of the Institutional Working Group in Štip. 

In the video, two members of the Support team, Mr Erol Ademov (facilitator) and Mr Nezir Huseini (RDDA SONCE), gave an insigh on the recent activities that were executed through the programme in the previous month. Beside the process of forming the Community Action Groups in targeted localities, the team also focused on establishment and importance of having a functional Institutional Working Groups.
