Within the framework of the joint programme of EU-CoE ROMACTED on “Promoting good governance and Roma empowerment at the local level”, a two-day training of facilitators on ROMACTED II methodology and tools took place from 16 to 17 August in Pristina. The event was organised by the ROMACTED Support Team from the Council of Europe Office in Pristina and Forum for Development and Multiethnic Collaboration (FDCM).

The aim of the training was to introduce and prepare the new pool of facilitators with ROMACTED II methodology and tools to work with in the implementation of the programme activities with the local authorities and Roma communities. The opportunity was also used to discuss the results and lessons learnt from Phase I.

ROMACTED Phase II will be implemented in 10 municipalities in Kosovo*: Ferizaj/ Urosevac, Fushe Kosove/ Kosovo Polje, Gjakovova/ Djakovica, Gracanice/ Gracanica, Istog/ Istok, Kamenica, Lipjan/ Lipljan, Mitrovice/Juzna Mitrovica, Obliq/ Oblic, and Prizren.
