An adapted and contextualised ROMACTED Handbook is now available in Albanian language. This Handbook aims to assist local authorities in improving the lives of disadvantaged Roma citizens, through capacity building and effective participation of the relevant stakeholders in local plans and projects. It includes key methodological principles, regional experiences from the implementation of ROMACTED Phase I in the Western Balkans and Turkey with a particular focus in Albania.

A tailor-made and context-driven approach was adopted since the beginning of Covid-19 lockdown during 2020 by the Albanian ROMACTED Support team. Virtual focus groups were introduced as novel data collection methodological instruments to enrich the document with local practices and experiences.

The Handbook will serve as a guide for the ROMACTED II team of facilitators in Albania, but also as a reference document for other beneficiary municipalities in the Western Balkan region.
