Routes4U Meeting for the Alpine Region (EUSALP)
Strengthening regional development through the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe

The first Routes4U meeting for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) took place on 2 and 3 April 2019 in Bard, Italy. The meeting contributed to identify the regional needs of the Alpine Region with regard to the Cultural Routes Programme in the framework of the Routes4U Project.
Participants discussed cultural tourism, transnational cooperation and regional development through the Cultural Routes in the Alpine Region. The meeting was also devoted to discuss new cultural routes to be developed, such as "Via Alpina", “Mountaineering Villages”, “AlpFoodway” or “Via Claudia Augusta”, to promote and protect the rich heritage of the Alpine Region.
Participants to the meeting included representatives from European Institutions, Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe networks and stakeholders from the cultural and tourism field at national and macro-regional level in the Alpine Region.
Routes4U co-organised the meeting with the Italian Autonomous Region of Valle d'Aosta and within the framework of the 2019 EUSALP Italian Presidency programme.

Shuttle
From Milan Airport to Bard
Shuttles will be provided by the organisers from the Milan Malpensa Airport to Bard (outbound and inbound).
Participants registered to the meeting will be contacted in due time with more information regarding the shuttle service.
OUTBOUND
- Monday 1 April: Departure from Milan Malpensa (T1 and 2) at 6:30 pm, arrival to Bard around 8:30 pm
- Tuesday 2 April: Departure from Milan Malpensa (T1 and 2) at 11:30 am, arrival to Bard around 1:30 pm

INBOUND
