Back Shaping future together in the Alpine Region

Second EUSALP Annual Forum
Shaping future together in the Alpine Region

The second EUSALP Annual Forum "shaping.future.together. with the next generation" took place on 20 and 21 November 2018 in Innsbruck, Austria. Jointly organised by the Tyrolean EUSALP Presidency and the European Commission - DG REGIO, the meeting focussed on the preservation and further development of the Alpine Region as a living and working place, with a special emphasis on youth involvement. Young people between 15 and 28 were invited to present their own Alpine project during the “Pitch your project” contest.

The EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) involves 48 regions in seven countries: Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Constanze Metzger, Routes4U Senior Project Officer, met with EUSALP representatives to further discuss how the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, that are present through over 350 members in the Alpine Region, can contribute to shape the future of the region.
