On 12 October 2018, Constanze Metzger presented the Routes4U project during the Danube Culture Platform meeting "Creating memorable experiences. An interdisciplinary journey to art and history” (Regensburg, Germany). Among other subjects, the participants discussed a proposal for an interpretation framework for the hidden heritage in the Danube Region and its possible contribution to the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme, as well as the possibilities of Cultural Routes’ extensions and new projects to be certified in the Region.

Lead by the Federal Chancellery of Austria (Arts and Culture Division), the Danube Culture Platform in an Interreg Danube project involving partners from Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia. It aims to explore aspects of hidden sites, give stories to visible and invisible cultural heritage and extend Cultural Routes.
