To ensure effective functioning of the compensation mechanism and to achieve harmonised application of the Law on the treatment of property and finalisation of the process of compensation of property, it is of prime importance to build the capacities of Albanian judiciary to correctly apply the existing legislative framework.

In this context, three regional trainings were organised for all the offices of the State Advocate, at the central and local level, on practical application of the newly developed commentary to the Law no. 133/2015 and on newly adopted amendments to the Law no 10018/2008 on State Advocacy. The trainings took place in Shkoder on 17-18 January, in Durres on 24-25 January and in Korca 31 January-1 February 2019. They brought together more than 40 representatives from six regional offices of the State Advocate (including Tirana, Shkoder, Vlore, Durres Gjirokaster and Korca).
