Breakfast meeting with Kosovo* civil society organisations to discuss the methodology

On 22 November 2018, the Group for Legal and Political Studies organised a Breakfast Meeting with the Strengthening the Quality and Efficiency of Justice in Kosovo action and five civil society organisations involved in monitoring the judicial system to discuss the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) methodology and indicators. This meeting took place at the request of several of these organisations, since they are increasingly using the CEPEJ indicators in their publications. They have also observed that courts and the Kosovo Judicial Council have started to make use of these indicators in public reports and on social media. The civil society organisations were: the Kosovo Democratic Institute (IKD), Lëvizja FOL, the Kosovo Law Institute (IKD), the Kosovar Institute for Policy Research and Development (KIPRED), and Democracy Plus.

The breakfast meeting was organised by the Group for Legal and Political Studies and in cooperation with the action “Strengthening the quality and efficiency of justice in Kosovo”, which is part of the programme "Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey", co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
