Quality education in multi-ethnic societies: focus group with parents held in Sarajevo

“If we want quality education for our children, the system should respond to children’s needs”, said one of the parents from pilot schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the focus group workshop held in Sarajevo on Saturday, 20 October 2018.

20 parents from nine pilot schools gathered in Sarajevo to discuss the findings and provide input on the initial recommendation from the assessment study on ethnic segregation and its impact on quality of education in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The activity was organised under the Action Quality education in multi-ethnic societies within the framework of the joint programme Horizontal Facility for Western Balkans, co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe, and implemented by the Council of Europe.
