CEPEJ experts conduct an assessment mission on mediation practices in Albania

A mission of CEPEJ experts to Albania took place in Albania to assess the current situation in the field of mediation. This initiative, supported by EU and Council of Europe joint SEJIV action aims to provide key recommendations for further support in developing mediation practices in Albania in line with CEPEJ guidelines and CEPEJ Mediation Development Toolkit.

The CEPEJ experts met with representatives of the Mediation Chamber of Albania, High Judicial Council, Bar Association, and with judges of Tirana District Court  (Civil and Penal Section) and judges of Tirana Administrative Court for an initial exchange.

Following the outcomes of the assessment mission,  awareness raising workshops and training activities may be offered to project beneficiaries.
