A lecture on “Academic integrity: plagiarism and contract cheating” will be held on Wednesday 6 December 2017, starting from 10h00. The event is organised within the framework of the Action “Strengthen integrity and combat corruption in higher education”, under the joint European Union–Council of Europe programmatic framework Horizontal Facility for Western Balkans and Turkey during the anti-corruption week to mark the international day against corruption.
Keynote speaker:
- Irene Glendenning, is a United Kingdom professor, lecturer at the University of Coventry at the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing. Besides this role she is increasingly involved with educational research, mainly focused on different aspects of student experience. Her specific area of interest is the Impact of policies for Plagiarism in Higher Education across Europe (IPPHEAE). She is a member of the International Center for Academic Integrity and one of the authors of the research of the SEPPAI project. The aim of this project was to explore perceptions and understanding about policies and procedures for supporting academic integrity and preventing plagiarism and academic dishonesty in higher education.

- Mr Marjan Dema - Rector of the University of Pristina
- Mr Shaip Havolli – Director of the Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency

The Conference will start at 10:00 on Wednesday, 6 December 2017, at the Amphitheatre of the National Library in Pristina.
