Specific project’s objectives
  • To increase the inclusion level of children from rural areas with better learning conditions and  increasing their achievements;
  • To strengthen inclusion culture in the school by reducing  peer violence and increasing the feeling of acceptance by all pupils;
  • To strengthen the competences of school employees for identifying and supporting pupils with special educational needs.
Project’s main activities:
 Adapting a room for pupils
  • Pupils from rural areas will be included in equipping the room in order to make them feel this room as their own. The room will be adapted according to their needs. It will be equipped with toolsfor advanced technology teaching: projector, chart board, DVD player. Comfortable accommodation, set computers and internet, will enable pupils to do their homework here,with the help of teachers or peers. They can spend stay longer at school, feel relaxed, spend some free quality time. This activity should lower the risk of leaving school early.
    • - For using the room two plans will be developed:
    • - Program of activities  
    • - Schedule of teachers on duty for providing help with homeworks and organising the pupils free time and leisure activities
Educational leisure activities
  • Pupils will be able to:
    • - watch movie that is connected to their school program
    • - search Wikipedia for educational information
Workshops for pupils on bulling
  • Two pupils from each class with “macho” discourses will pass peer education. They will be included in the work of the team for protection of pupils from violence, abuse and negligence. Also, they will present this` program to other pupils in the class. These pupils will also constitute the Open club for discussions on bullying and inclusive school culture..
Trainings for teaching stuff on inclusion
  • Trainings for 84 teachers and school associates will talk about:
    • Strategies, methods and techniques in the inclusive classroom,
    • Educational support for children from vulnerable groups, 
    • Lesson adapted to child,
    • Inclusive education and individual education plan

After trainings, teachers will improve competences to work with children with special educational needs and  those who are the performers or targets of verbal and other violence. Such children will get stronger. Head teachers will regularly report about the level of achievements and the level of integration of these pupils.

Project’s target groups
  • Direct beneficiaries: 270 pupils from rural and lower socio-economic areas, 30 informal leaders of male groups which impose discrimination in school, 30 pupils who suffer violence  , 84 teachers.
  • Indirect beneficiaries: all the pupils, parents and local community.
