A two-day training session on Some Aspects of Freedom of Expression for prosecutors and advocates within the PCF Project on Freedom of Expression and Media Freedom in Azerbaijan took place on 20-21 December 2016 in Baku.  The main aim of the training was to raise awareness on CoE and ECHR standards on freedom of expression among prosecutors, law enforcement officials and advocates and to give the floor to open discussions. International expert made presentations on Council of Europe and European Court of Human Rights standards on some aspects of freedom of expression, privacy, as well as defamation issues. 25 prosecutors and law enforcement officers and 25 advocates participated in the training and took an active part in case-study sessions and discussions.
