Training for integrated care for drug-using inmates in the Republic of Moldova
A training for 'Integrated Care for Drug-using Inmates in Therapeutic Communities" is taking place in Chisinau, 25-29 May 2015. Moldovan prison staff from the female prison Rusca and the male prison Pruncul as well as NGO members discuss the methodology and praxis of therapeutic communities. At the end of training participants received a personal certificate for acquiring the basic knowledge to run a Therapeutic Community in prison.

This is an activity of the project “Criminal Justice Responses to Drug Using Prisoners” that is part of the Programmatic Cooperation Framework for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus that is funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe.

It is organised by the Council of Europe's Pompidou Group (Co-operation Group to Combat Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in Drugs).
