On 6-10 June 2017, a delegation of Gdansk lawyers visited the Southern Regional Bar in Cahul and the Moldovan Bar Association in Chisinau. The peer-to-peer exchange included challenges faced by the profession of lawyer in young democracies and ways to overcome them, the importance of an effective and independent profession, the collaboration with the judiciary and the academic environment.
