The Council of Europe and the Commission on Combatting Corruption of the Azerbaijan Republic will hold a public discussion on the draft Anti-Corruption Action Plan on 14 March 2016 in Baku. In view of making the drafting process as transparent and inclusive as possible, the event will provide a platform for up to 75 representatives of state agencies, civil society organizations and professional associations to contribute their views on measures to prevent and combat corruption in the country. The anticipated action plan will be the country’s fourth strategy document on anti-corruption and transparency, with the last plan having expired in 2015.
