Over twenty Georgian prosecutors, investigators, and analysts took part in a two-day training on “Investigation and Prosecution of Legal Entities for Economic Crimes” organized on 16-17 November in Tbilisi. Participants, including representatives of the Office of the Chief Prosecutor Office of Georgia, State Security Service of Georgia, Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance and other institutions, had the opportunity to discuss with international experts legal requirements for corporate criminal liability in Georgia and other countries, most frequent crimes, and good practices concerning investigative strategies and prosecutions. The interactive character of the training, which included a case study, was received exceptionally well leading to requests for more such trainings in the future.
