The National commission for the protection of women victims of violence in Morocco launched, with the support of the Council of Europe in the framework of the South Programme V, its second report on 9 May 2023, in Rabat, with the participation of ministries, national and international organisations and civil society actors.

The Council of Europe has been supporting the National commission for the protection of women victims of violence since its creation in 2019 in the framework of the Neighbourhood partnerships with Morocco 2018-2021 and 2022-2025. Both organisations have collaborated to produce two awareness videos regarding the law 103.13 on combating violence against women and the work of the commission, in addition to the publication of its first report and a practical Guide on care for Women Victims of Violence.
