A high-level online live event was held on 23 November 2020in the framework of the partnership of the European Union and the Council of Europe in the Southern Mediterranean, the “South Programme IV” aiming to provide a regional support to reinforce human rights, rule of law and democracy in this region.
This event marked the official launching of the fourth phase of the programme by bringing together representatives of the Council of Europe, the European Union as well as representatives of national and international institutions and civil society organisations of the Southern Mediterranean.
