Work is underway to establish the Policy Teams in the beneficiaries. The Serbian Policy Team met on the 4th February and Policy Team meetings are planned for Croatia and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia on the 20th February; and BiH on 25th February.
The Policy Team has 10 members (including the Local Focal Point who will coordinate the activities). The members of the Team represent the key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Education (general education, Inclusive Education/ Special Needs Education), Ministry of Social Affairs, VET sector, Inspectorate, Teacher training institutions, "TeacherNet" and "SchoolNet", parent representative, and NGO representative.
The role of the Beneficiary Policy Team is:
- to identify the policy gaps at beneficiary level,
- to define good policies with the "SchoolNet" and "TeacherNet" and present them to the regional level Policy Net and finally,
- to prepare an implementation plan at beneficiary level.
