Training for national and local authorities on using the Digital Platform for Monitoring Roma Policies

On 9 October 2025, in Podgorica, the European Union and Council of Europe Roma Integration III Joint Programme conducted a training session to introduce the Digital Platform for Monitoring the implementation of Roma Policies to national and local authorities.

The platform is a tool designed to support authorities in monitoring progress, assessing indicators, and planning effective policies for Roma inclusion. By enabling data-driven decision-making, it strengthens the implementation of strategic documents and ensures alignment with the specific needs of Roma communities.

During the training, participants explored the platform’s functionalities and gained practical insights into its application for monitoring and policy planning. The initiative contributes to building the capacity of relevant institutions, fostering greater transparency, accountability, and efficiency in Roma policy implementation.

This activity supports Montenegro’s efforts to advance inclusivity and improve the socio-economic conditions of Roma communities through innovative, evidence-based policy approaches.
