On 31 May, the cultural centre of Dusheti hosted an LSG working meeting  aiming at discussing the final version of Dusheti Reference Plan and selecting potential actions for the upcoming Project Phase.

The first Deputy Governor of Dusheti  Mr. Beka Gharibashvili introduced the final Reference Plan - positively assessed by the LSG -  highlighting the needs and possibilities for stimulating economic development based on heritage. In this context, the administration capacity to cope with such complex tasks without any external support has been praised as well as the high promotion of local community participation. The national coordinator of the project – Ms. Leila Tumanishvili and by the project officer – Ms. Rusudan Mirzikashvili, gave general information on the project’s next phase .

In this framework, a specific questionnaire has been circulated in order the LSG to identify 5 priority actions. Final selection of priority actions will take place after the analysis of the questionnaire and additional consultations among the local population.
