Professionals Enhance Skills in Project Development and Proposal Writing

Professionals from the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye strengthened their skills in project development and donor-oriented proposal writing through a dedicated training programme. The training opened with an introduction to project cycle management, covering key definitions and core concepts. Participants were then guided through the analysis phase of project proposal development, with a focus on structuring needs, objectives and interventions in a coherent manner. Sessions continued with a detailed overview of the logical framework (logframe) approach and an examination of the links between implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

In the afternoon, the programme addressed the financial dimension of project development, offering insights into donor logic and funding mechanisms. Participants explored how donors design programmes and assessed proposals, followed by a practical session on donors, programmes and project writing, aimed at improving the quality and relevance of funding applications.

The training provided participants with a structured understanding of the full project cycle, from conception to implementation, and supported the development of practical skills essential for designing high-quality, result-oriented project proposals.

The training activity focused on building institutional skills in project development and fundraising, empowering participants to use these skills to advance social inclusion activities in the future. This activity was organised within the framework of the "Roma Integration Programme Phase III", a Joint Programme of the European Union and the Council of Europe.
