Hate speech and discrimination against the Roma community in the Republic of Moldova is the issue covered through the article developed and published by the journalistic platform "Oameni și Kilometri," in cooperation with the Ombudsoffice, the Equality Council and the Promo-LEX NGO in the Republic of Moldova.
The web article presents the problems that Roma people encounter during their professional and social interactions and how these affect their lives. Along with the story, there are useful references for potential victims or witnesses of hate speech, including country-specific data on the issue.
This article was prepared in the framework of the project "Strengthening access to justice for victims of discrimination, hate crime and hate speech in the Eastern Partnership," funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in their Partnership for Good Governance II 2019-2022.
