A second workshop brought together key representatives of Ministries in Kosovo*, to finalise and review the National Action Plan for the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities in Kosovo, focusing on the period of 2025-2026. This workshop aimed to align the Action Plan's activities with the Strategy for the Advancement of the Rights of Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian Communities in the Republic of Kosovo (2022-2026) and ensure that the budget is effectively allocated to support these initiatives.

Outcomes of the Workshop:

1. Finalisation of the Action Plan (2025-2026): Key policies and activities were reviewed and finalised, establishing a clear framework for addressing the needs of Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities.

2. Budget Completion: A detailed budget was prepared to support the activities of the Action Plan for 2025-2026.

3. Alignment with Government Strategy: It was crucial that all activities and targets align with the overarching Strategy for the Advancement of the Rights of Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian Communities to ensure coherence and unified progress.

The workshop concluded with a commitment to continued dialogue and collaboration to ensure that the finalised National Action Plan effectively addresses the needs of the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities in Kosovo.

The conference was organised within the framework of the Roma Integration III Joint Programme, financed by the European Union and the Council of Europe, and implemented by the Roma and Travellers Division of the Council of Europe.
