What is a Young European Ambassador?

The Young European Ambassadors (YEA) programme is an initiative of the European Union that connects youth in the Western Balkans and the Eastern Partnership regions. It aims to share skills, ideas and promote European values and opportunities.

As part of the Partnership for Good Governance, the work with the YEAs from the Eastern Partnership region focuses on developing counter-narratives to hate speech. Supporting their role in combating hate speech is essential for promoting equality and diversity in line with European values and standards.
