An online round table to present the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) dynamic database of European judicial systems was held for national stakeholders in Azerbaijan.
The various CEPEJ-STAT dashboards, CEPEJ Evaluation Report of judicial systems, evaluation scheme and requested data were discussed with representatives of the Ministry of justice of Azerbaijan.
European good practice examples as regards implementation of CEPEJ tools concerning the regular monitoring of the work of courts and the reporting system were presented, followed by a presentation of the practices in Azerbaijan in the field of judicial data collection and treatment.
On 15 December 2021, a workshop on the possible implementation of a national system comparable to CEPEJ-STAT was held.
These activities were organised in the framework of the project "Strengthening the efficiency and quality of the judicial system in Azerbaijan," funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in their Partnership for Good Governance II.
