PATHS Module 4 introduces the European Human Rights Training Programme for Legal Professionals (HELP) to Southern Mediterranean partners

The Council of Europe delivered the fourth module of the Programme of Advanced Training in the field of Human rights, the rule of law and democracy for Southern Mediterranean (PATHS) in Rabat on 27-28 November 2017. The training was organised in the premises of the Moroccan National Council for Human Rights (CNDH).

Centred on the Council of Europe HELP Programme1, the module introduced 33 experts, lawyers and human rights professionals from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia and Palestine* to HELP tools, methodology and a selection of its thematic courses. During the two-day workshops, participants have learnt to use the HELP training tools available for their own training objectives while exploring the Council of Europe standards in the fields of data protection and privacy, children's rights, and the fight against trafficking of human beings.
