In the frame of partnership with the Pompidou Group’s Mediterranean Network for Co-operation on Drugs and Addictions (MedNET) and in the context of the South Programme II, the National Office for the Fight against Drugs and Drug Addiction (ONLCDT) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Population and Hospital Reform (MSPRH) has staged in Algiers, a two-day Euro-Mediterranean regional seminar (21-22 April) on "opioid replacement therapy as part of a risk reduction policy (OSI)”. Attended by 70 Algerian participants and 20 experts from other countries from Europe and the South Med region, the seminar has served as a forum for the exchange of experiences on the substitution treatment that are widely taught in Europe and some countries in North Africa and the Middle East.
