A group of high-level representatives from Tunisia held an exchange of views with members of the Council of Europe Group of States Against Corruption (GRECO) on 22 June 2017 in Strasbourg, at the side of its 76th Plenary Meeting. The President of the National Anti-Corruption Authority (INLUCC), Mr Chawki Tabib, and his delegation were welcomed by the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Ms Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni.
Such consultations took place in the framework of Tunisia’s request for a membership to GRECO, following the assessment of the country’s legislative and institutional anti-corruption system and the adoption of the ensuing report’s recommendations at the start of 2017. On the whole, the meeting has allowed to discuss about the successful partnership and future cooperation work with Tunisia.
