Brief desciption of the resource/practice: 

Introduction of age & term limits for all members of the HOC’s Executive Board, incl. the President.

  • Regarding age limits, a HOC Member may hold office until the 31st of December of the year in which they reach the age of 75. This will enter into force as of the upcoming term of 2025 – 2028.
  • Regarding term limits, all Executive Board members can serve up to 3 terms only. This has already entered into force as of the current term 2021 – 2024.

Thus we have a constant refresh of the nominees for the HOC

Commissions.

Furthermore, the HOC follows and applies all the Guidelines set by the IOC towards this direction.
