Brief desciption of the resource/practice:
A charter for gender equality in Sports has been developed, which has five key principles. Anyone who signs the charter agrees to fulfil these principles. The development of the five guidelines of this charter was carried out with the local sports organizations and the ADT-Center Luxembourg in the form of workshops, ensuring that it is individually adaptable and reflects the goals that are important to the sports organizations. The charter not only addresses gender equality among the members, but also within the committees. Furthermore, the sports organizations commit to gender-equal communication in the media, as well as transparent reporting of the statistical data regarding their members and committees. The communities support increasing public gender equality in sport to change societal attitudes.
