Brief desciption of the resource/practice: 

The course main objective is to endow Israeli coaches with academic and practical tools to help recruit and preserve competitive sports female athletes.

Main goals:

  • Understanding the challenges of recruiting and preserving young girls in sports and the ways to deal with these challenges.
  • Adopting a gender-based language that is adapted to female athletes.
  • Making academic research and knowledge accessible to coaches allowing them to Mold practical tools for communication with female athletes to advance safe and empowering spaces.

Coaches will meet and interact with gender researchers who specialize in different aspects of gender in sports touching on subjects like media, physical education, safeguarding and more.
