Brief description of the practice: This report presents several projects funded by UEFA’s Women Football Development Programme (WFDP) and implemented by National Football Associations in Europe, to show how funds from UEFA are invested and to provide ideas for new projects and development opportunities in women’s and girls’ football. Particularly, the report focuses on one project per association and describes the aims, the impact and the highlights of the initiatives. The projects address several different topics, which are: on-field development, off-field development, promotion, coaching, leadership and refereeing. Out of all the projects, nine were highlighted as best practices in their area and are denoted by a star icon in the report.
