Brief description of the practice: Recommendation from the Parliament to the Government to take measures to combat discrimination between women and men in sports competitions (gender gap in prize money). The main objective is to push the Government towards adopting all necessary measures to eliminate Sports Awards’ inequalities (gender gap) and to guarantee, the respect for the legislation in force and the objective of promoting equality between women and men, in particular when it comes to offering public finance support for sporting competitions.
