Brief desciption of the resource/practice:
With the Futbalista Hattrick programme, we want to focus on the following 3 actors:
- Futbalista @ school – Start 2 play – more footballers under 12y
- Futbalista coach – Start 2 coach – more female coaches
- Futbalista referee – Start 2 ref – more female referees
Futbalista Hattrick aims to involve specific target groups among girls and women in football clubs and football as players, coaches and referees through an adapted, accessible way. Girls are still starting football at a later age. Through football initiations using storytelling in primary schools, we want to introduce girls to the sport of football in a gentle way and give them opportunities to join clubs. Through specific initial guidance, we also want to offer female referees and coaches a stronger basis in their first steps into the new role. This initial guidance also provides a soft entry period where the barriers are lowered. In this way, additional opportunities are also offered to these target groups. The Futbalista Hattrick project is embedded in the football federation's strategic policy.
