Improving the lives of citizens by reinforcing human rights, democracy and rule of law is the main goal of the Central Asia Rule of Law Programme, financed by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
Launched in 2020, the Central Asia Rule of Law Programme is implemented over the period of four years in close co-ordination with the authorities of five Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan), combining regional approach with fine-tuned bilateral activities.
